The Roz Crystal Wing Collar Necklace

For the last few months I have loved collaborating with fellow fashion jewellery lovers from Maison Miru. We have been emailing each other loads of pictures of accessories that inspire us and that we adore. As a brand Maison Miru actually love hearing from people about what jewellery we’re coveting so that they can make the jewellery that we’ll be loving for years to come.

Statement necklaces are definitely my current jewellery obsession and I have to confess that I now have a rather large collection of them. So you can imagine how honoured I felt when Maison Miru decided to name one of their new statement necklaces after me. Moi, me, little Dutchess Roz? Wow ;) I think the idea came from me sending them an image of a white statement necklace like this that I was obsessing over, so when they added a similar piece to their collection they felt it should be crowned with the Dutchess Roz title! To show of my new Roz Crystal Wing Collar Necklace I thought there’s only one way really; with stripes. I love the combination of casual stripes with a bling statement necklace.

ROZ CRYSTAL WING COLLAR NECKLACE (link) – £38 from Maison Miru // Stiped long sleeve knit from H&M (recent collection) // What Maison Miru say: What: Our white and ice statement necklace that instantly wakes up your look // Why we love it: When you put this necklace on, you’ll instantly feel like royalty. Just ask Dutchess Roz! // How to wear it: Roz’s glowing shine pairs beautifully with textured knits – we love pairing her with a waffle knit sweater for day.

Isn’t she a beauty? The necklace I mean of course! Aside from stripes, you can pair this gorgeous necklace with pretty much anything really. Think bright jumpers, simple black & white outfits, a denim shirt, silk cami’s or your favourite little white or black dress.

Sabine Crystal Stud Earrings

When it comes to earrings you can’t go wrong with big sparkling diamond studs! Now unfortunately my budget doesn’t really stretch to real diamond earrings, so when I found these beauties online at Maison Miru for only £24 – how could I resist? I love the slight vintage design of these glamorous stud earrings and you can effortlessly transition them from day to night.

They are 1cm in diameter so quite big but that’s what I like about them. They make an impact by adding the right amount of sparkle for day to be special – but they don’t shout for attention. Do you like the bling factor of my new crystal stud earrings?

For my makeup in these photos I used my new Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara & Eyeshadow Palette. Ever since I got the Full Exposure Palette, I’ve been using it pretty much every day! It’s got the perfect mix of shimmery and matte eyeshadows and the quality is amazing. Don’t worry I will post a review about it in due course. Have you tried this palette yet?

For the love of W11

Today I am sharing a bit of postcode love for my old hood! I lived in Notting Hill for over 2 years and it is without a doubt one of my favourite areas in London. When a few weeks back I stumbled across the jewellery brand Whistle & Bango and I instantly fell in love with the concept of their postcode bangle collection. Whistle and Bango offer unique and beautiful designs celebrating their love of London. They currently sell bangles for the postcodes; SW6 – Fulham, SW3 – Chelsea, SW11 –  Battersea, N1 – Islington, and of course the best postcode of all W11 – Notting Hill!

“The Jade green colour of the W11 bangle reflects the arty retro feel of Notting Hill and Portobello, the silver lining represents the development from the slums it was 50 years ago into the blooming happy place it is today.”

Another great thing is that for every bangle sold, £1 is donated to The Mother of Peace Charity to help the orphans in Zimbabwe!

Would you like one of these bangles but they don’t offer your London postcode yet? Well you can vote for your postcode to be featured next HERE!

Pop of neon

The neon trend was pretty massive last spring & summer but it’s a trend I’m secretly still loving! Wearing neon is not for the faint-hearted but it’s actually quite easy to wear if you just add a pop of neon to a basic outfit in the form of an accessory. I found this great neon yellow necklace on EBay and it’s such a fun bold statement piece. I love wearing it with a fluffy grey knit, classic denim shirt or a little white dress for a night out. When wearing a pop of neon like this, the idea is to keep the rest of your outfit pretty simple!

Neon Sevilla necklace from EBay for only £4.99 (link – but it’s now out of stock!) // Grey knit jumper from H&M // White tee underneath from ZARA // Leather biker leggings from ZARA // On my nails I’m wearing Kiss it Better from Clinique (review here)

What do you think of this pop of neon look, something you’d wear?
