Hello everyone. Sorry for the quietness on the blog over the last few weeks! Life has been busy and I’ve just not had the energy or time to focus on the blog. Also the weird thing is that my blog used to be a huge creative outlet for me after I’d come home from my corporate job. But the trust is now that my job is a so much more ‘me’ I feel I get home and don’t as much have the drive to blog. I weirdly feel guilty about this but then I also want to continue to do this as a hobby and not feel it should be a task. Hope you guys can understand. I still update my instagram pretty regularly so if you want to see more of what I am up to then make sure you follow me at @dutchessroz.
Anyway, last night I went to Alexander McQueen’s Savage Beauty exhibition at the V&A and it was so incredible I just wanted to share some sneaky pics. Savage Beauty, is a homage to the late Alexander McQueen and it definitely wasn’t like any other fashion exhibition I’ve ever seen. It was dark and beautiful at the same time and left me feeling amazed and inspired. Not only was he obviously very talented and this garments were beautiful tailored and detailed (gosh the detail..) but I also really I loved seeing a lot of sculptured accessories like shoes, hats and body pieces which made the exhibition a real visual treat.
