Kisses from Clinique – Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss
This February, Clinique has created a special limited edition ‘Kisses from Clinique’ set featuring the bestselling shades of Clinique’s iconic Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss. ‘The Kisses from Clinique‘ set was put together for the KISS IT BETTER appeal – raising money to fund research into the causes and treatment of childhood cancer.
I am a big fan of the Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Glosses (a previous review here) and think this set contains six gorgeous shades that all deliver a super flattering sheen of colour whilst moisturising and keeping your lips soft and therefore kissable ;)
The ‘Kisses from Clinique’ Set Contains:
- Currant 5ml
- Raspberry 5ml
- Lilac 5ml
- Grapefruit 5ml
- Apricot 5ml
- Rootbeer 5ml
Here they are swatched on my hand. L-R: Apricot and Rootbeer, Lilac and Ginger and Currant at the bottom.
My personal favourites are Apricot (a sheer pinkened apricot) and Ginger (a mid tone nude brown with a hint of pink). But really I think they are all such lovely and wearable glosses and the formula is nice and glossy but not too sticky.
This must have set will be sold exclusively in House of Fraser stores nationwide and online at Clinique.co.uk during the month of February, with 50% of the RRP (£24) going to the appeal. The full size Superbalm Moisturising Glosses are 15ml and retail at £14.50.
A £2 donation will also apply to all Clinique lipstick or lipgloss sold at House of Fraser stores nationwide, throughout February 2013. (£1.00 will be donated by Clinique and £1.00 will be donated by House of Fraser).
So what are you waiting for; Get kissing…I mean GIVING ;)
Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask
In winter our skin can always do with some extra boost of moisture, especially when you are exposing it to freezing temperatures and icy winds during the day; when skiing for example! Apparently our skin is particulary vulnerable to moisture loss during the night because our barrier functions are down. This is why Clinique has brought out their new Moisture Surge Overnight Mask to replenish the skin with soothing and nourishing moisture during the night.
The Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask has a strong no-rinse formula that is luxuriously rich and creamy to deliver instant hydration to the skin, working overnight to strengthen the skins ability to lock in moisture and leaving it incredibly soft, smooth and supple the next morning.
I’ve been using this cream the last few days whilst on holiday in the snow and even during these cold and dry conditions; my skin has felt hydrated and soft every morning!
Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask is available at all Clinique counters or online at www.clinique.co.uk and the 100ml tube retails at £28/€38. Have you tried this new product by Clinique yet?
Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes
Last night I was invited to visit the London Clinique HQ to check out their super cute candy store! The event was to introduce the newest member to the Chubby Stick collection; the Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes! All over the world, Clinique have won people’s hearts with their amazing Chubby Stick lip products (you can read my reviews on the popular Chubby Stick lip products here and here) and now they are expanding the line with eye candy; check out the Clinique Candy Store…

The candy store was filled with lots of sweets and cute milkshakes for us to indulge in whilst we got the chance to check out their brand new Chubby Sticks Shadow Tint for Eyes! Just like the famous Chubby Stick lipsticks; these Shadow Sticks have a lovely creamy formula that deliver a pretty wash of sheer, build able, long-wearing colour for your lids!
There are twelve super-wearable shades in the collection ranging from nudes to pinks, to violets and blues. The sticks are 100% fragrance free and have the same easy crayon-like barrel design to make on-the-go application a breeze.
Shades in the collection are: Bountiful Beige, Lots O’Latte, Fuller Fudge, Ample Amber, Whopping Willow, Portly Plum, Pink & Plenty, Curvaceous Coal, Lavish Lilac, Big Blue, Mighty Moss and Massive Midnight. Here are some pretty shades swatched on the back of my hand. The Chubby Shadow Sticks glide on smoothly because of their creamy formula but it does set into a more powdery finish that they say will stay put on your lids all day without creasing.
Bountiful Beige is definitely one of my favourites. It is a lovely shimmery champagne shade that I would use all over the lid on it’s own for a simple eye popping look, or I’d use it as a highlighter underneath my brows. Some others shades that caught my eye were; Whopping Willow, Lots O’Latte, Fuller Fudge and Massive Midnight; which I think will provide a great base for a dark smokey eye look.
When I left the event I got given a lovely goodie bag filled with candy (nom nom…) and two of the new Chubby Sticks Shadow Tint for Eyes for me to play with at home. I can’t wait to try them to see if they are as long-lasting as they promise.
The new Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes (£16/€22) will be available nationwide at Clinique counters and online at www.clinique.co.uk from 15th February 2013.
What do you think; do you like the idea of these crayon-like Chubby Sticks for your eyes?
